people wanting the cheapest are happy to go BNE-SYD-MEL-ADL-PER in a 14 hour marathon and save 5% on their fare
I defy anyone to find a fare on your suggested route cheaper than what JQ/VA or QF are offering on BNE-PER. The various airport charges alone would make this very hard.
