When I used to work at Seven Hills I occasionally saw one operating into Transfield Engineering's strip just down the road.
Apparently a few went to Thailand and were ARMED for counter insurgency work - just think, Seven Hills - Sydney's defence aerospace centre
I remember one day (mid eighties?), I was driving down Powers road Sevvo Hugh, when one crossed the road just getting airbourne in front of me. I remember the windsock used to sit-up just over the fence, I think it might still be there....
Most of its gone now. A friend's father learnt to fly at Schofields, and knew the pilot who ferried them from Seven Hills to Schofields, before fuelling them (they had just enough fuel to get to Schoies - plus reserve) then flew them to SE Asia.
