Nowdays, pilots are definitaly busdrivers, applying strict SOPs on fully automatic airplanes. There is nothing glamourous whatsoever. Do you really belive that operating an A380 from Dubai to LAX is the same job as flying a B747-100 from JFK to LGW in the years 60's??? C'mon, be honnest!...
