Its like an 'it girl' in that you can't capture its full beauty in a photo, you can only appreciate the thing when you see it in the flesh. The engineering is superb, its almost as simple on the inside as it is on the outside, and the lack of any pressure-recovery style shapes on it is also interesting. He even managed to squeeze a steerable tailwheel in there. It fits the builder precisely; I'm two inches taller than him and could only just fit in it with the canopy closed, and my knees were up against the spar, yet for him it was ideal. He also carved the prop himself.

I think the 3/4 view is best..


The engine is not even a race one, and he claims about 100 hp for it. With a race engine we reckon on it comfortably being able to top 300mph in level flight.
