Personally I find RIAT to be one of the best airshows in the UK. If you've seen the Vulcan many times in the past and listened to the "yes, THAT Martin Withers" guff that the commentator rolls out each time, then you may not be that bothered about seeing it this year. Hopefully both parties have learnt from this whatever the reason (or real reason) may be.
I feel for people like cleanair's boy, the older generation will have seen the thing fly anyway.
Having read the chairman's comments, I reckon VTTS were looking for much much more for the Vulcan to appear, thinking RAFCTE would pay up, they refused, both parties now giving their excuses.
