The "nice roster" is only that, if you're at the base of your choice, ALL the time. For the many that aren't, 5/4 quickly turns into 6/3 or even 7/2 in some cases. FATIGUE CENTRAL my friends! FR do not roster any flight duty time for passive flights for Pilots (contractors) moving between their many bases.
I remember some poor fellow commuting to Kaunas (5/3 roster) from Sweden, via Stansted and Palma de Majorca!!
Just my humble opinion, and personal experience too.
