I think this is the best news that has hit CWL in a long time
I personally believe that CityJet stepping in on Edinburgh, Glasgow & Paris after the shocking announcement that Flybe were to withdraw from the services is one of the best news that has hit CWL. Having 3 x aircraft based at Cardiff with the scheduling requiring mostly 2 with a third being used on certain days has secured jobs.
On the other hand having a very well known low-cost airline in the likes of Ryanair showing an interest for one reason or another may just make other airlines willing to consider Cardiff in the future.
I don't expect a major offering from Ryanair but it will be interesting to see if CWL remains a TFS only service or not.
