There are lots of young people visit Belfast for its pub/club scene at no matter what time of the week phleas fogg you are on cloud9 there are more people visit Belfast/northern ireland than Cardiff or Wales anytime you have a very biased view towards where i live and don't give a toss what anybody on the mainland says about the place.

It is fact that there are many a people that have a fear of travel to such destinations as Iraq and Afghanistan, going back a little further many people remain with a fear of N. Ireland.
Me, I pretty much don't care stuck out here in the jungle of a Pacific island, I traveled thru Aldergrove during the troubles but the majority of people didn't and, given the choice, wouldn't.
