That really needs caveating, "cheaper for some" surely.
I was referring to airline operating costs. Aircraft are becoming more fuel efficient and therefore cheaper to operate with each new model, thereby making routes that were previously unprofitable more viable to operate.
Combine that with raises in wages, then this makes such flights more accessible to more people.
