However, I think nine years to command is unsustainable in the long run. Mathematically speaking such times to command are only likely after i) rapid expansion of the fleet, or ii) a mass exodus of flight crew to other carriers.
Realistically I wouldn't bank on making command before the 12 or 13 year mark at EZY; and that's possibly still being quite optimistic. So in reality, I'd be surprised if there was much of a difference in earnings over the course of your career, irrespective of whether you fly for BA or EZY.
Nevertheless, both are great options in my opinion, and anyone should jump at the opportunity to get a position flying for either.
