1. I have found that shouting does not help comprehension when dealing with people whose first language is not English
2. You could easily have ended up with a white powder, or a sack of solid fuel
3. Try asking for a "Coca-Cola" next time
4. Overt displays of emotion are not well regarded in Thailand, or many other SE Asian countries - and those girls sure can blank you
