I think you may have stumbled onto something... there are dozens of wrecks, scrapped and just abandoned aircraft littered around Wilson that could so be put to good use in a museum of some kind. It would do such a public service to tidy up the airport, free up parking, and reduce the general tattiness of the place.
I'd be willing to guess that every one of those aircraft have a dozen great stories behind them.... overloading, flying miraa, crashing, illegal ops you name it. It could be a wonderful potted history of aviation at Wilson through the ages... Any takers out there?
