i've seen some companies in the usa offering "sign up bonuses". silver airways on climbto350 (im not a member but saw the post) says sign on bonus of $12,000 . now to me a sign on bonus means exactly that .... start to work for us and will give you 12 grand BUT when i saw the fine print on their web site its states 6 grand upon completion of training and 6 grand upon completing 2 years with them. it seems to me this would open the company up to litigation doesn't it? reeks of false advertising. and ameriflight has a banner ad on climbto350 which states bonuses to $7500 , yet when i visited their web site all bonuses were 1000 to 2000 dollars, nothing close to $7500 ! i even sent them an anonymous email advising them of the discrepancy. even though i'm trying to help them avoid a lawsuit they didn't even bother to reply to say thanks.
