f-ATPL is great if you are going the airline route... pay for your 737 TR, fly for Ryan Air... get your 500 multi-crew hours, unfreeze your ATPL... fly airliners forever.
What BigD is getting at is that African bush flying operators aren't looking for f-ATPL pilots... they are looking for smart CPLers that don't give two
about flying an airliner any time soon... so forget about your special f-ATPL license if you want to fly the small stuff in Africa since you won't be unfreezing it for a while if you head down here.
