I think you'll find Mr Atkinson did not say the pressure
in the cylinder was that high. I think you'll find Mr Atkinson was talking about the pressure
on the threads.
I'm guessing that the pressure on the threads has something to do with the surface area of the threads, but I'll leave it to the experts to explain.
