AirNZ has several frames painted in the Black scheme (B773, A320, ATR72 & B1900 (2) ), some have been around for a couple of years now, and their finish is still looking sharp!
I'd think the value of maintaining a unique scheme on a couple of frames is worth the attention and brand awareness it creates.
