Becoming culturally aware is essential before rational judgements can be made on this.Hell I have even been able to get on with the French (when in France) since I discovered you need to shake their hand as you meet,make an attempt to speak their language and realise that this Latin temperament is just the way they are and does not carry the same significance as it would if a Brit "went on one".
When they are in the UK it is not unreasonable to expect them to conform to our culture (but the above still helps).
