Just a quick heads up. Avschool is not the same as before. No more fly now pay later program, no more "dodo knowledges", very relax environment and lenient on training. It become a typical gen-av flying school. PAL hire LSO with 250 minimum hours, CPL-IR rated, wether you came from Avschool or a different flying school which is 50% cheaper. After graduation, PAL doesn't assure a pilot trainee any job from their roster, so try to think of these things. Many PT never made it to the line.
A lot of PAL Management pilots never allow their kids to go to Avschool, but instead, earn their time from cheaper blocks. Wonder why?
Pointers: If you are still interested in applying, just do good, never fail any checks, and do the PTR nicely. That's the only stuff similar to what you'll do as SO in the line.
