I was fortunate to get onto a caravan with only 300tt. And I have 210 hours p1 on it, ie sitting left seat and solo; so it can be done. Unfortunately for me the African operators do take a suspicious view of the rare cases like mine. I would love to come back to Africa and fly in Tanzania. I found the 206 a little trickier to handle than the van anyway IMHO.
