Some GA composite aircraft manufacturers will only allow white or silver like colours on their aircraft due to heat and UV absorption. I wonder why it's different for the 787? Most GA composite aircraft are hangered too whereas airline aircraft can sit out in the heat and UV for hours.
Any theories?
