I think the focus should be more on Sheffield than Doncaster. Sheffield has over half a million population whereas Doncaster is only about 300,000.
So if you are travelling from Sheffield then EMA, MAN and possibly LBA provide strong competition for DSA meaning that setting up in DSA for Jet2 is less attractive.
