And I think people should be thankful for any opportunities given to them, regardless of the practicality of them. I mean, especially for hong kongers, there aren't any opportunities available for them unless they receive their training overseas. Sure thing is that people in other countries have got more opportunities in becoming a pilot as they have plenty of resources such as flight training school and stuff. But they rarely have luxury that ppl of hong kong do - having the company pay for the training and stuff. But of course prior to that, you have to pass all the designated assessments and compete against all the candidates. But that's just how the reality works - full of competition.
