The RAAF Museum's new warbird F-111 VH-CXI

I wasn't able to post this in the am, as requested, due to the internet not reaching Point Cook, so sorry for the delay. As mentioned on the RAAF Museum's Facebook page here;
https://www.facebook.com/RAAF.Museum...?stream_ref=10

The Dump and Burn is back!!! Following the issue of it's Experimental Certificate of Airworthiness, the RAAF Museum is looking forward to the increase of visitation with the introduction of the F-111C onto the Museum's flying program.

The 'reggo' ('N' number in US, G- in Ger.. Britain) is VH-CXI, or one hundred & eleven in Roman.

Unfortunately, due to low numbers for today's Interactive flying display, the F-111 didn't fly, but I'm told when there is 'a sufficiently large crowd of enthusiasts' it'll be ready to go. The Museum's other aircraft are able to display for almost any size crowd, but the F-111 is something special, and only likely to fly on special occasions.

A bit more about the Museum's interactive flying display where one of the Museum's aircraft, or a guest aircraft is flown for the audience at 1 pm, on a Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday, year round: RAAF Museum: Interactive Flying Displays

I was able to grab a couple of shots afterwards, with the 'low speed chase' aircraft, the Museum's CT-4 alongside, and showing the required 'Experimental' markings under the cockpit (in case you get that far and aren't aware of the aircraft's technical status!) and the reggo markings in lowish viz on the nosewheel door and fin as per CASA requirements.
