OK, here's a question or two. Right now, Scottish flights to and from the EU and EEA are covered under Open Skies - those to other countries are specified in the BASAs.

(a) What happens to the current EU/EEA flights if Scotland leaves the Union, and the rest of the EU says 'no thanks' - is there going to have to be some serious drafting going on in the wee hours in Edinburgh? Would they have one BASA or one for each contracting state? Lawyers' paradise....

(b) What about the non EU/EEA flights - I bet the BASAs refer to UK flights; if they are no longer part of the UK, then does rUK take over the rights? What will Scotland do??
