BA new longhaul destinations
With all the new aircraft coming into service are there any new longhaul destinations on the horizon yet?
Fair Deal -

Current deliveries are largely fleet replacement and interestingly the only real element driving expansion of service are the unsung heroes - Those extra 77W frames received and 12 strong fleet to be completed in early summer.

The 388 and 788 deliveries are pretty much matched by withdrawals of 744 and 767s.

We have seen a few new route added Seoul, Austin, Chengdu and some increases in frequencies e.g. an extra New York -JFK (replaces an AA flight this summer)
Equally we have seen some consolidations such as at LAX where planned use of the 388 will see fewer flights offered overall.

Interestingly the short haul continues to expand with a range of new services including leisure ops from Heathrow and further new 320s scheduled in the coming months (Some will replace the ex bmi 319/320s moving to Gatwick)

As for your question i believe we are still several seasons away from any meaningful expansion - That will come from the 789 and A350 fleets through many of these will also be for continued fleet replacements.
