The 228 is approved for LCY but as far as I know its never operated in there. The approval was done for a proposed Humberside operator. But in reality if there are a limited number of 228 slots is it worth all the additional training costs and approvals. One would suspect that the ATR42 operation will be a co-operation with BlueIsland. Blue are already approved so that will reduce costs.
