]I'm convinced the 5000 was just a figure dreamt up to frighten the government (which it didn't) and please the market (which it hasn't) and QF management have no idea how they are going to get there and who will be affected. The drip-drip of redundancies will continue for years and morale will remain "in the toilet".
I agree.
First we hear "the equivalent of 5000 full time jobs", and now what are we to think? It seems to be made up "on the run" to accord with the emotion of the moment to make their point.
What will they do next?
