I am not pre-occupied with Virgin. What I don't like to see is mis-perception, either intended or unintended. The ALAEA has been very critical of Qantas for having some of its heavy maintenance done off-shore. On the other hand, it's been quite uncritical of Virgin having all of its HM performed off-shore. In fact, it has understated the extent Virgin's off-shore maintenance. I'll give the Secretary the benefit of the doubt when he says he wasn't aware of some of it, but for someone in his position, that's a pretty lame (sorry, the pun was unintended) excuse. I like to see the facts correctly put.
