Nobody's mentioned the Jodel DR1050. Cheap to buy, cheap to operate, decent cockpit view. Good control feel. Cruise at 110+kts. 4 hour+ endurance (if fitted with autopilot and rest-room in aft cabin). Only thing I don't like is the poor cabin heat/draughts.
