Yes he's British and one should probably wish him well.
But, I can't regard in the same light the Rutan led team who produced aircraft like the Longeze, Voyager, and numerous other successful prototype aircraft, and on the other hand the Bennett led team with a less than 50% success rate with simple sounding rockets no experience in manned vehicles and who managed to destroy a couple of square miles of Dartmoor after an unauthorised rocket launch that went wrong and had no emergency cover.
