Clarification ACARS can be programmed to report on events & or time.
Events like Takeoff, TOC (Top of climb), reach waypoint
Time e.g. every 30mins
OR if an abnormality occurs...
The ACARS report at 1:07am local time indicated no issues with the aircraft.
