Perhaps a better metric would be number of staff per ASK (Available Seat Kilometres) to take into account size of aircraft and sector lengths flown?
Better still, salaries as a percentage of ASKs? Worlds Best Practice that metric against Emirates, BA, United, VA, Etihad, etc...?
