Working across the present UK I am picking up that there appears to be four distinct lines on thought on independence in Scotland. 1. Actually no thought because a lot of folk havent got a clue as to what is happening. 2. Those who disbelieve that such a thing can ever be considered because the UK is wonderful. 3. Those who are starting to wake up to what is happening and are now **** scared that major revenues from oil and whisky will disappear and that nuclear weapons may appear on their doorstep. 4. Those who are also concerned that with Scotland potentially going out on its own then with the loss of independent and labour MPs at Westminster then it could be another term of the Tories or even UKIP.

Despite Gutsy Orange's polls it is going to be very close come September 18th. Expect Better Together to accelerate Project Fear and then back down with major concessions close to the 18th. Devo-Max is a distinct possibility and Mr Salmond will be disappointed at not getting full independence but he will happy all the same as this is what he wished for all along. If he gets Devo-Max then provided this works for Scotland there will be a push for another Independence vote in a few year's time.

Now back to aviation. In fact this thread isn't really going anywhere and is just providing a forum for a series of irrational, uninformed, blinkered and bigoted rants. Mods - over to you.
