Weren't you asking earlier if there were any alternatives to flight instructing because you "aren't so keen" on it?
If you really think you'll hate instructing - don't bother getting the rating. If you end up working as a disgruntled flight instructor, your students will suffer, you'll be miserable, and you'll come across to your peers, coworkers, bosses and people who walk in the door that you're just another guy suffering through it only to build time. (Note - people who walk in the door wanting a check-out, for example, could be an industry connection, ie. a working pilot that has hiring connections, job tips etc, and trust me, they won't help a cranky guy out. It's all about who you know in this industry.)
As far as if there are instructing jobs in Canada? Yes.
Are there other time building jobs in Canada? Yes. Are they easy and in nice, glitzy cities? No.
