General Aviation never changes and I am glad to be out of it. Recently had a friend accused of operating charter flights in a private category aircraft without an AOC, when all they did was take his friend up on a cost share flight. Without asking the pilot involved what was going on another operator on the airfield phoned CASA and reported them. CASA investigated and found nothing untoward going on. Operators should be careful of possibly starting small wars on their door steps, especially when recently two of there aircraft have had engine failures as the whole house of cards can fall down very quickly. I've seen this many times before and it never ends up pretty with accusations and counter claims, even court proceddings. This kind of thing is what gives GA bad name and can keep those who may be interested away. We are going through a turbulent era at the moment and should be working together not starting petty arguments against those we may not get along with.
