YES. Jetstar has been borrowing, leasing etc new aircraft on the back of Qantas' credit rating. At least 12 of these are on the ground losing even more money

Without Jetstar under proper managment Qantas now in 2014 would have a fleet for international ops of A330 787, A380 and 777. The clowns bought the 744ER at the same time they could have ordered the 777 - but the 744ER was a better deal because (according to Dixon) it was actually cheaper
