I concur with jayemm, however be a bit gentle with them as they're not yet fully up to speed with the procedure - early days yet no doubt. I was just told initially that I could only request PPR on the day of the flight, which makes early arrivals at EGSY impossible. It was quickly sorted out though - you can request in advance.
The sign/fax-back procedure is a once-off procedure, subsequent
PR requests won't require it as long as they have your signed form on file. Apparently the sign / fax back procedure is a CAA requirement, not the airport or the council being petty.
