Apparently QF is saying the SYD-JNB flight will continue after the announcement, and there is no changes to the daily schedule it operates now. (In an internal email to employees) There has been talk of it going but in all honesty if QF cant make it work on a monopoly route with no end of line carrier issues, and a high yielding one at that then it couldnt make it on any route internationally.
When the good news is they are maintaining one daily route then it cant bode well for bad news....
