I dunno Pace, Iv'e been a few times and whilst the surrounding area is nice (I know it well), the airfield itself always felt sterile and unwelcoming, there is little there in the way of atmosphere.
Compare it too somewhere like Compton Abbas or halfpenny green and it just doesnt invite a visit
