To Do or Not To Do...

Just being looking into doing the same thing.
You can study for all/any of your Oz ATPL subjects in NZ but at this stage ASL NZ do not offer the Oz Exams (you have to cross the ditch to sit 'em).
I know of a couple of people heading over in the near future to do the four main subjects over a full time (5 week) course, and they will probably spend another few weeks over there doing the other 3 subjects self study. They are looking at a cost of about $5,000 to do this.
Some of the NZ airlines (Mt Cook, Air Nelson) do not look too favourably on this way of going about getting an ATPL.
