I agree entirely about Sherburn's A/G radio operators. I've only flown in there once, but I was most impressed; they gave you all the information you needed, but if you asked for anything else, they didn't give it, and refused to "tell" you what to do. I realised it was the first time I'd been to an airfield where A/G operators did it by the book; all the others I'd run into had either been trying to do too much, or simply been incompetent or not there when needed. One of the many good things about Sherburn, along with the food, the surroundings...in case you hadn't gathered, I rather like the place.
