Mstr Caution, just out of interest, What happens if they simply stop hiring for say 6 months at Jetstar, slash and burn the staff levels at Qantas during this period and then start Hiring again? Would the MOU require them to give some kind of priority to take back staff they removed from Qantas or would they then be free to take whomever they like?
Also, what would be the situation if Jetstar continue to hire staff but on NZ contracts, would the MOU still cover Pilots being made redundant with Qantas in Australia?
