Don't normally comment on this kind of topic, though I have read a lot of it, however..
phnompenhkid I don't think it is an appropriate comparison for either side of this particular incidents participants as having a VC equivalent of anything. Particularly when the blokes who were awarded the VC usually obtained it by giving their lives for the blokes they were serving with. A rather ironic comparison given the subject matter and just a little bit disrespectful towards the VC holders. The VC still means a lot to a lot of people and is not something to be taken lightly.
