The way I read the signals is they will get some sort of help from the Gov't.
IMHO, the 3 car companies pulling out will help Qantas get help as the TA Gov't won't want another bad news story with 3 already on the books and to be played out over the net 3 years. Toyota's timing of the announcement played into the hands of Qantas.
