Sure you can go direct entry onto the AC B777, you just have to do it as a cruise relief pilot for $45K a year for the first few years
Pretty much every airline is seniority based in Canada, hence bottom of the list and entry level wages regardless of previous experience. The odd exception would be if you had sufficient command experience for one of the smaller airlines looking for a rare direct entry captain position that occasionally comes up.
