mikkie4, why don't you take up the e-cigs now, a month before the flight. Perhaps you can reduce your dependance on nicotine to the extent that your flights will be less stressful. I believe that you can use the e-cigs at SIN, and they do have smoking booths there.
e-cigs apparently are a very good quoting aid.
