I stand to be corrected but I'm fairly certain that the cost included the aircraft training as well as the sim stuff but they did not chuck in a 72-600 differences course for that money, if a candidate wants to do the differences training they have to arrange that separately at further expense to themselves and hope that the extra ticket makes them more employable.
There used to be a link from the Aer Arann website to a training page which had loads of useful information but that seems to have disappeared recently.
I have noticed that they have been recruiting recently for a new head of training, not sure if the previous head of training has already left or whether they're due to leave/ retire and will hand over to the new person. There does seem to be some changes at the top in the training department which may or may not affect the TRTO operation.
