Perhaps you could ring up and ask the HR department, just a thought, if you were interviewed you would not be out of order in doing that. Generally it is interview protocol at the end of interview to give a time frame for advice on the interview outcome. If that period has elapsed you are within your rights to ask.

It is not unusual for companies to sell and lease back assets, Virgin did it with the hangar at Brisbane recently to raise cash to fight Qantas with.
To have leased back means you must have owned the asset in the first place a good thing but not the best way to run a business. Some of The Dash 8's were bought from Qantas many years ago for a good price, and sold at a better price to the leasing companies, I think?
