Has happened before.
Starting with $20 million and ending with $10 million is about what has happened almost every time someone tries to start a rebirth of a dead airline. They don't seem to last long at all.
It would depend on the amount of investment and where it came from though. There have been airlines that started up and went far, but there is not any indication that this new Eastern is anything other than a dream.
