Intellectual Property?
This type of thing has been tried in the US many times before. Pan Am came back more than once, and actually used Carnival Airlines. The intellectual property didn't seem to be anything much further than the name.
Who knows though. With the right intellectual property this new Eastern may become something, but who knows what?
